Bruichladdich Golder Still comes from some unusual Bourbon casks, rare squat hogsheads. These experimental 'dumpy' casks were used for a brief period in the eighties before American coopers settled on the current format for ease of storage. The extra Whisky/wood contact given to maturing spirit is reminiscent of an older style of character, the character of a bygone era: an evocative barley sugar flavour and aradient alluring, natural colour, golder still than any other type of American cask today could ever give.
Aged for 23 years, Apporox 4,900 bottles at a cask strength of 51%abv.
