This Edradour 12 year old Madeira Cask Finish was distilled on 19th November 1997 then matured in Hogsheads before being transferred to Madeira casks on 2nd May 2007 and bottled 25th August 2009 at 55.9%abv.
519 500ml bottles were filled.
I visited Edradour distillery after visiting the vast ( by comparison)
Blair Athol distillery just down the road at Pitlochry. The first impression is it's size, it is the last surviving farm distillery in Britain. The stills too are the smallest legal stills in Scotland, the low wines holding a mere 947 gallons and the spirit still 48 gallons, filling 7 butts a week. The distillery was founded in 1837 on the site of an older distillery.
