This Edradour 1999 10 year old single cask whisky was distilled on the 21st September 1999 and matured in cask number 404 then bottled 18th November 2009 at 46%abv by independent bottler Signatory.

I visited Edradour distillery after visiting the vast ( by comparison) Blair Athol distillery just down the road at Pitlochry. The first impression is it's size, it is the last surviving farm distillery in Britain. The stills too are the smallest legal stills in Scotland, the low wines holding a mere 947 gallons and the spirit still 48 gallons, filling 7 butts a week. The distillery was founded in 1837 on the site of an older distillery.
