- How can I place an order?
- You can place an order by registering on the site and ordering via the secure form. Alternatively, you can telephone us with your order and credit or debit card details on 01793 765071 between 9am and 9pm GMT, 7 days a week. By placing an order, by whatever method, you are agreeing to our delivery terms and conditions as laid out on the shipping and returns page (click here to read these)
- Is it safe to order online?
- Our online ordering system has 128 bit Secure Socket Layering security to give you the highest level of protection possible. The SSL protects data transferred over http using encryption enabled by a server’s SSL Certificate. You will see that all pages where you are required to give confidential information have a small padlock visible in the bottom corner to show that the page is secure.
- How do I add or remove products from my basket?
- Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our catalogue, and then to add a product to your basket click on the ‘Buy’ or ‘Add to Basket’ button. If you want to buy more than one of the same product then put the number you require in the ‘Qty’ box and click on the ‘Update’ button. To take a product out of the basket click on the button below ‘Remove Product(s)’ and then click ‘Update’. You can then either click the ‘Continue’ button to carry on browsing the shop, or click the ‘Purchase’ button. You can amend your order at any time prior to when you click the ‘Confirm Order’ button in the purchase process by clicking on ‘Shopping Basket’ and adding or removing products.
- How do I check out?
- When you are on the ‘Shopping Basket’ page and you click ‘Purchase’ if you are not already logged in you will be taken to the ‘Sign In’ page. Once logged in you will then be taken through the Purchase Procedure step by step. Any comments about your order, e.g. special instructions regarding delivery, can be entered at this stage. Please note that we cannot accept Solo cards where the number begins with 4917, American Express cards, or Visa Electron cards.
- What are the charges for shipping?
- You can find details of shipping charges, terms and conditions by clicking on the ‘Shipping & Returns’ link in the Information box at the side of the page.
- How long will it take to receive my order?
- For orders received before midday we endeavour to despatch on the same day, providing the product(s) required is in stock. We use Parcelforce 48 or Royal Mail for all UK parcels. It normally takes two working days for delivery (not counting the day of despatch), and Parcelforce do not deliver at weekends. If you require a 24 hour delivery then please contact us for details of availability and cost. Deliveries to the Highlands and Islands usually take a day longer than deliveries to mainland UK. For deliveries outside the UK, Royal Mail aim to deliver to European destinations in three to six working days, and to other regions in one to two weeks.
- I've moved house, how do I change my address details?
- Sign in as normal and when at 'Your Account' page click on ‘View or change entries in my address book’. You can change your invoice address, as well as store multiple delivery addresses.
- Can I add a message if I am sending an item as a gift?
- Yes – you can add a gift message in the ‘Add comments about your order’ box as you go through the Purchase Procedure.
- I can’t see the bottle I’m interested in – can you order it for me?
- If there is something in particular that you are looking for then contact us and we’ll let you know if we are able to obtain it for you.
- I’m buying the whisky as a present – what would you suggest?
