The Glenglassaugh Fledgling XB 200ml is a bottling of some of the first spirit from this recently re-opened distillery. (XB means Ex Bourbon).

This spirit has matured in ex Bourbon casks for 12 months. The spirit has overwhelming caramel notes followed by lashings of buttery vanilla fudge. a view of things to come with more ageing. Bottled at 50%abv.

Glenglassaugh distillery is a Victorian distillery dating from 1875. It has a history of being opened then closed, opened and closed - closing in 1907 (reopens 1931), 1936 (reopens 1960) and again in 1986.
