This Miltonduff 1996 single malt whisky was distilled on the 24th June 1996 then matured in refill Sherry Butts numbers 9446 and 9448 then bottled at a cask strength of 60.9%abv on 16th May 2007.

It is one of Gordon & Macphail's Cask strength range of whiskies.

Miltonduff Distillery is an old distillery built in 1824 on the site of Pluscarden priory. In 1964 two Lomond stills were added for the production of Mosstowie, though this is considered a different distillery. In 1981 these were removed and replaced to increse the production of Miltonduff. Considered a blending malt, being used in Ballantynes blends.
