Monkey Shoulder
Monkey Shoulder is a blended single malt (aka Vatted malt) containing Glenfiddich, Balvenie and mostly Kininvie. This whisky flies off the shelves all year round and it does so because of its excellent quality and very reasonable price. The whisky’s smoothness makes it an ideal dram for those new to whisky as well as whisky connoisseurs. Value for money there are few that can compete with this.

|
Big Peat
This Douglas Laing bottling is a blended single malt containing only Ardbeg, Bowmore, Caol Ila and the closed Islay distillery Port Ellen. Big Peat is an award winning whisky picking up the Best Scotch Blended malt whisky in the Whisky Magazine awards. It’s the perfect dram for that cold winter night in front of the fire - ideal for fans of Islay whisky and exceptional value for money.

|
Balvenie 12 year old Double Wood
The Double Wood has had a double maturation - first in an American bourbon cask and then in sherry cask. The palate is of vanilla from the bourbon cask with fruity tones from the sherry cask. This is my favourite Balvenie.

|
Springbank 15 year old Single Malt Whisky
We both love this whisky. Slightly briny and lightly peated in style, a malt in a class of it's own that is very much a product of it's environment. Medium to full bodied, with lots of character this is a dram that brings a smile to your face.
