From the Barossa valley, South Australia. This area was originally settled by German immigrants in the 19th century, here we have a 6th generation descendant Peter Scholz making superb wines.

My tasting notes are :-

Colour- showing maturity opaque with hints of tawny and ruby rim.

Intense mature nose, cassis and chocolate.

Palate - balanced intense fruit and acidity, soft easy tanins with a long finish.

Alcohol 14.5%.

A cracking Cabernet.
